Movies and worries

Starting friom where I left off. that night when I went to tidy his room, he came to my house to tell me how surprised he was and he was so adorable! Really appreciated it. Anyway, last night I finally met Leo's brother's wife. She's really sweet and cute. She has a great personality. Great couple. So we all had dinner with Leo's family at his dad's company dinner. After that we went to Pavilion with Leo's brothers Ian and Zen with Ian's wife, Daphne, and Yikee, Zen's girlfriend. Wim, Zhen Zing and one more cousin came with us. We watched Legion. I found it.... ummm... not relly awesome. Like some parts of it but I would only give it a 4/10. Sorry... Nice wings though and guys with nice bodies *giggle*

So right now, here I am, bored to my guts. Was angry with Leo this morning. I don't know if I should make up a reason for myself to not be angry. He himself doesn't know what he's done wrong. If I get angry at him he'll just hate me and think I'm the most annoying person in the world. I don't know what his reason is. Is he not used to having a girlfriend? Or he just doesn't know what to do? I'm not sure. Everytime I'm angry with him, I blame it on myself. So I will never have to show my anger to him. I love him too much to lose him.

Oh well, now watching Departures with my family. Awesome Japanese movie about a cellist taking up a job as an undertaker. Dressing the dead and preparing the dead for their departure. Very good movie. I would give it a 9/10. Amazing storyline. Amazing cast. Amazing music. Extremely respectable movie. I would recommend everyone to watch it.

Anyway, gotta go get ready. Having dinner with Leo's family.

Pssst...

Well it's not really a secret. More like a surprise. Leo have always wanted to tidy up his oh-so-comfortable room and he mentioned getting nice looking boxes to chuck all his stuff out of sight. So yeap, that's what I did. I bought him nice black & white boxes which suits his room. He hasnt been able to spend time with me today because of classes and the parentals... So I called him to confirm that they were all still out then sneaked into the house, went to his room and started to tidy everything up.

Anyway I hope he's surpised and I hope he likes it. You should know how guys are. The messier the better. I'm starting to miss him alot. So used to being able to see him everyday, then one day he's too busy and I start missing him like crazy!

Come to think about it, I haven't been clubbing in quite awhile. Especially after Laura's birthday celebration. I love Zouk. I always have fun there. Music's great and the guys there are easy on the eyes *wink* Have to go there to collect my membership card. I have to go dance and get my groove on soon before I start dancing in pulic... scary *laughs* Definitely something no one wants to see.

So... gotta head to the showers then get dressed and go see my babies at the pet shop. At the same time, to pick Lynn up from work. She must be exhausted. I miss her. Been getting along really well with her the past holiday.

The living dead...

I feel like a zombie right now. It's officially been 28 hours of not sleeping. I couldn't sleep last night which resulted in my parents forcing me to stay awake the whole day until it's time to sleep tonight. It's very important I get my sleep tonight as I'll be having an interview tomorrow. So sleepless nights and nerves... don't go well together. Right now, I could fall asleep anywhere as I'm absolutely in a sleepy daze. People say things, I answer and I don't remember it happening.

So the only way to stay awake? Is to help my mum make pineapple tarts. Yummy! So far I have time to write in my blog is because we're preheating the oven. A serving of extra buttery pineapple tarts coming up! I've made pineapple tarts with my mum before and I'm looking forward to popping one into my mouth as soon as it's done. Then let the magic happen!

Anyway, parents going out for a company dinner later at night so I have to pick Lynn up from work. She's currently working at PetsMore. A pet shop in Queen's Park near Jalan Peel. I love going there to visit her. Today when I dropped her off I saw my favourite! Little 1 month old Shih Tzu, with the most adorable face anyone can ever find. Spent an hour there just bonding with the dog and loving it. Adorable Shih Tzu like those get sold really fast and I don't want to lose him *tear* I just cant afford him. He sells for Rm1,180, not including cage, leash, food or accesories. Oh well, I'll have to wait and pray no one takes him.

I have to get back to making pineapple tarts... Have a secret to tell later *wink*

Movie, Shopping... Starbucks-ing...

Went to Times Square to0 get my precious back after 4 long months. No not talking bout a human. My phone! My Prada! My precious! Sent it for repairs 4 months ago and yes it's a Malaysian tradition to take as long as they can to fix something. And it freaking cost me RM85!!! But oh well, at least I got my precious back. Miss it so darn much!

Anyway moving on... Today after picking the phone up, I went shopping for CNY clothes. Walked all floors of Times Square and I could not find a decent, elegant yet sexy dress. All I found we're dresses that are so "la-la" and that make me look way too young for my age. Then I remembered I saw a dress that I liked but didnt have the time to try in Sungei Wang. I walked all the way there just to try the dress and guess what? Makes my boobs look flat... Sad right? So I keep walking. Starting to lose my interest and excitement.

Then I saw it...

A tiny little shop right in the corner. I forgot what it was called as all I saw was that dress. And it's not plain red. It's in my ever favourite maroon colour. There it was hanging on that rack. A sexy yet elegant dress, a halter top design and the skirt is pleated silk. It glimmered and shined in the spotlight as its material was silky and it flowed smoothly like a river of maroon water as the wind blowed. The dress is just like the pic below. Just in maroon colour instead of black.

What did I do? I grabbed it from the rack and put it against my body. The colour was beautiful and it looked perfect. I tried it on and without a second thought I bought it! Only cost me RM25. Was I happy? Hell yeah! *cheer*

Walked back to Times Square to meet Leo as I left him to study for his exam at OldTown. Met up with him and went to buy movie tickets for The Toothfairy which stared Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Funny how I can recall his full name now when all I could remember 5 mins ago was "The Rock". For me, I'd give that movie a 7.5/10. Why?

After the movie, went to this beauty shop called Nature Republic on the 1st floors that sold beauty products imported from Korea. Amazing products. Love the 'Alaska Ice' series. You can put the products in the fridge and when you use it... Pure relaxation! A little bit pricey but hell yeah it's damn amazing. At that time... no more cash to buy *tear* So sad. But don't worry, like Arnold Schwarzenegger's favourite quote, I'll be back! LOL.

So I'm back home. Ready to go to bed. Hoping Leo isn't studying too hard and forgetting to sleep. His OS exam is today and I'm worried for his health. My poor baby...

Pancake Lunch...

Yes, you've guessed it!! We're having pancakes for lunch! Who is we? My baby, Leo, my lil princess, Shenz and myself. Made those pancakes up from scratch. I love to cook and bake.
I love the satisfaction I see on the faces of the people when they enjoy and savour my creations!! So here I am, watching Leo drown his pancakes in maple syrup and watching Shenz stuff pancakes into her already full mouth.

I know it's only January, but I wanna start planning my baby's birthday. Make it the best birthday ever for him. He deserves the best after everything he's been through. I guess I just got to keep my mind wide and open for new ideas.

Everyone has special dates in their lives. Coming to think of it, I have a few of my own. For example, the 13th of November or the 1st of August. There are so many. And we all have that little space in our mind to keep store those dates, hoping we'd remember when the day comes.

Now watching Shenz playing with Leo, I just can't hold my giggles in. Anyway, I'm glad to finally have someone that gets along really well with my family. And he never fails to make me laugh. Oh well, I hope one day he will know that I appreciate him so much.
I have to go wash dishes now. LOL. Random.

Imperfect is the new perfect!

Wake up in the morning feelin' like P.Diddy...

Hmmm... how does P.Diddy feel?? Anyway, it's 3.16am... n it's been 2 nights and counting that I am not able to actually fall asleep in my room of 20yrs. But the minute i get to Leo's room and just plops down on his bed. I go into this deep sleep where nothing could wake me up. So, the solution for my 2nd un-sleep-able night was to make my self a shot, as in alcohol. Got a big shot glass, salt rim the glass, mixed martini and blackberry concentrate, shake with ice then... drink! And I think it's working pretty good. Yes I'm still awake but i can feel the drowsiness kick in.

Lynn, my sis, currently working in a pet shop. Advantages for me! I get to check out the cutest puppies ever!! My fave??? The pure white with a gray streak down its back and beautiful bright blue eyes... the Siberian Husky!! Absolute beauty... I would buy it if it doesn't cost RM2.6k. Although there is another puppy that my sister simply adores, the schnauzer.. Did I spell it right?

So it's been 10 minutes, and yes alcohol kicking in... and bored.. so I'm freakin' off to bed.. Final-effing-ly!! ZzzzZZZzZZzzzz!!!
