Y's the sun so bloody hot in Malaysia?

I was in Ipoh for 3 days.. or you could say 2 nights and 2 days cuz we (Darius & I) only got there around 9pm on Friday. Darius's mum hurt her foot when she fell down the stairs a few weeks ago. Her foot's really swollen. I really hope she gets well soon. In Ipoh, I learned how to cook a few new chinese dishes. I also get woken up really early in the morning to follow her to the morning market. I'm just really glad im back in KL! I love the city! Ipoh's around 2 hours drive away from KL. Currently the roads in KL are pretty quiet due to the Hari Raya celebrations and thanks to that, us students get a one week holiday!! Woo-hoo!! LOL... Sadly, my holiday will be filled with me doing my IDTP assignment! So tough... I'm not looking forward to it.

Anyway, back to me in Ipoh. On the morning of our last day there, Darius's mum treat us to this theme park by Sunway called the Lost World of Tambun. It's definately not as awesome as the Sunway Lagoon one, but still i loved it! Maybe because of the awesome scenery surrounding the theme park.. beautiful mountains, hills and forests... I love that scenery. The other amazing things is that not many people were there so we didnt have to queue in line to wait for the rides. At the Sunway Lagoon in PJ.. the lines are crazy long! I hate waiting for rides! most of the time spent at the theme park is lining up! Anyway... it was so fun. We got on the crazy water slides. We even got to see my favourite: tiger cubs!!! only 1 and a half months old! the 3 of them were just super adorable! I've always wanted one as a pet LOL.. but it's against the law. There are a few animals i've always wanted as a pet, like, horses, tiger cubs and more!!



Just because of that trip to the Lost World of Tambun, i got really sun-tanned. What to do? Asian skin. Get tanned so easily :( LOL.. Its weird that it's the opposite of here with the eurasians or american people. You see them tanning themselves like crazy at the beach. I've always thought that it was kinda cool that they don't get tanned easily. Because us asians... we tan easily so most girls in Malaysia are afraid of the sun... LOL! Thank god i'm not one of girls who cares if I tan LOL. I love the outdoors too much to care LOL. I know it's a part of being beautiful and all. but i guess i'm not that kinda girl :) people should enjoy life more and do things they never thought they would instead of being so afraid. I guess its only my opinion.. just one person. to me.. everyone has their opinions. so speak out! :)

It's been awhile...

It's been so long since i wrote in my blog LOL.. I haven't had anytime. Had to work, study and do activities. I just got back from 4 hours of ice skating! My legs feel jelly LOL. My skates weren't right today. couldnt skate very well.. I wonder wats wrong. Planning to get my own skates so i can get used to it. Fell 2 times when I was trying to skate backwards.
Wish me luck y'all! LOL.. I really wanna skate well.. i have no idea why.

Damn.. I have this particular song stuck in my head. The song is by Joanna Pacitti called "Watch Me Shine". She's an amazing singer. I wonder why she isn't famous in Malaysia. She should be. I love the lyrics to this song.

I just found out by the Taylor's prom this year. "A night to die for" so scary LOL.. Well maybe that's cuz the theme is "victorian"! where the hell are people gonna find victorian costumes in Malaysia?!?!?! I'd rather go to my friends prom which has the theme, "Moulin Rouge" LOL.. we just have to dress in sexy corsets n lots of make up LOL...

I can't concentrate!!

I'm actually in my IDTP class now. I have no idea why I feel so sleepy! I wanna sleep early tonite so I won't look like a panda tomorrow. Feel like I'm gonna fall asleep face down on the keyboard of my college's MAC keyboard *laughs*. Btw, to any of you readers who don't know, I'm currently studying Mass Communication and majoring in PR in Taylor's College Petaling Jaya (TCPJ). The Taylor's which is Leisure Commerce Square, the Bali or also known as Kurnia building next to Federal Highway.

Studying here is pretty cool. Everything's just so relaxed. We even have a snooker and pool center on the 7th floor. Awesome huh? LOL... The lecturers are really awesome, they help make sure that you understand everything they're saying. Anyway... I can't see, tp concentrate cuz my mind is on one certain thing....... SLEEP! That's exactly what I'm gonna do when i get home. My class ends at 5pm. Hope i don't get caught up in rush hour traffic jam. The traffic jams in KL can turn out to be really nasty.

Tomorrow's supposed to be a public holiday but my lecturer's holding an extra class for anyone who would like to catch up or gain more knowledge on the subject. I have to go for it or I'll be so left out! Not that I can't catch up... but I'm too lazy too *laughs* I'm really weird. Anyway, today is the first day in my life someone complimented that i look hot when I talk in a business-like way. That's just weird.


Anyway, lecturer now asking us to do a tutorial... *yawn* zzzZZZzzzZZZ........ *in dreamland*

Work it... work it!!

Went to the gym today to sweat it off... I feel so tired right now. I haven't worked out in the gym for awhile. It feels great to get back on the treadmill. After that went striaght to the pool! *splash* I dived right in.

After all that I feel so tired but refreshed. Anyuway.. chatting with my 2 best friends Laura and Justin. Miss them so much! Arrrrggghhh! Can't wait to hang out with u guys again! and thanks for the "naughty" gift LOL... I'll be sure to use it. For all who don't know what it is... don't guess! Cuz u won't get it right ;)

Grandma's 80th Birthday!

OMG.. I haven't written in for so many days. 2 reasons: I'm lazy to turn my comp on and write and I've been so busy!

Anyway.. we had a party to celebrate grandma's 80th birthday! It was ok.. kinda like a family reunion thing. It was held at my aunt Gina's place and there were so much food and a rainbow birthday cake. It tasted so good! My aunt Pek is just amazing with baking.

Anyway... I went skating with a huge group of my friends on.. hmm.. i think it was on the past Tuesday. It was so fun! I finally learned how to skate.. n fast! I still fall.. but who cares. I'm so happy! LOL.. Went with Marcus, John, Vincent, Laura and Adrian. Met new friends there: Joshua (he's cute ;p), Jeffrey and I forgot the other guy's name... Whoops! sry! They were all amazing skaters. I was so amazed! LOL.. they're like a huge group of my teachers *laughs* Now that I know how to skate, I wanna learn how to brake/stop and skate backwards. I'm starting to really love ice skating!

Shisha night

After writing in my last blog last night, my high school mate, John, called me on my phone saying that he was bored and wanted to go out "yamcha". The word "yamcha" direct translation means drink tea in Cantonese. But in Malaysia, "yamcha" means hanging out and going out for a drink. So John and I tried to contact our friends to see who might wanna come.

In the end it was just John, my sis, Lynn, and I. He came to pick us up in his BMW (comfy) LOL.. Then we went to this Arabian restaurant called "The Castle". It was pretty full with people but we managed to find a table. We ordered some soft drinks, Hummus, and he got shisha. Got the grape bean flavor.. Yummy! :) It was only my second time doing shisha and it was really fun. The atmosphere was really nice there too. We got Lynn whois 17 years old this year to try shisha but she didn't seem to like it very much. Exactly the same reaction as mine when I had my first shisha *laughs*.

Lynn is the really innocent and smart one in our family. Wherever she goes, her school text books follow *laughs* She's really smart and really innocent. She's never tried shisha or clubbing. But oh well, all these things takes time. We'll all experience these things in one part of life :)

My day today is a total drag. I'm so bored at home. But it's fun watching movies with my family on HBO. I get to cuddle with my sister, Shenz, who is only 10 years old. She is just adorable and she has a blog too!! Check it out! It might be pretty dull as it's written by a 10 year old kid but.. oh well. It's the support in the family taht counts.
