Family Day!

It's been a really long time since I've spent a whole day with my family. Today's Malaysia's Independence Day so my parents weren't working. Went out for breakfast in the morning at Steven's Corner, this mamak near my place (indian food). After that we all got into my dad's Camry and were off to Mid Valley Megamall. When we actually got there, we saw that all the parking bays were full! So we left for another shopping mall. Since my mum, Lynn and Shenz have never been to the new wing in Sunway Pyramid, our dad took us there.

We had so much trouble looking for a parking lot and finally found one. Since my college is really near Sunway Pyramid, I go there pretty often. I had to be the tour guide to the place LOL... We were there till around 5.45pm and started to head home. My dad had a reunion dinner with his high school mates at 7pm.

After my dad left home, mum decided to bring us to the nearby night market they have every Friday and Sunday night. It's a really great place to shop as everything's so cheap and affordable. There are so many choices of things as well. My cousins, Yvonne & Alex, from San Francisco, US, experienced the night market and thought that it was awesome! Anyway, my sister, Lynn, bought a pair of really adorable shoes for only RM18!! I bought Shenz something to put her phone in. It's a really cute blue teddy bear pouch with an pretty Hello Kitty key chain with a tiny bell :) for only RM10! Can you believe that? *laughs*

Wanna go watch "Camp Rock" now. Surprisingly.. I haven't watched it yet LOL. I'm currently waiting for "HSM3: Senior Year" to be screened. I know I'm a little too old to like HSM but still, I love music and Dance :) and I love chick flicks! :)

MERDEKA!!

Woke up pretty late today. I actually feel sleepy right this moment LOL... Anyway, went to catch "Money No Enough 2" at MBO. It's a really good Singaporean comedy by Jack Neo. Made me cry and laugh in so many parts. If you're not Malaysian or Singaporean, or if you don't understand mandarin or hokkien, don't watch it cuz you'll get lost LOL. For us who understands hokkien, the movie is amazing! :)

Tonight is Merdeka eve, which means that 2moro is Malaysia's 51st independence day. Wow... LOL. Going up to my condo on the hill to check out the National firework display. Thank god my condo's facing the KL valley. I get to witness fireworks from every part of KL. It will be B-E-A-UTIFUL *laughs* I'll make sure to post photos of the fireworks.

I still remember performing for the big celebration of Malaysia's 50th independence day at the Stadium Merdeka. I was a part of a 3000 person performance group. We worked so hard to perform for the Sultans and the Prime Minister. Feel so proud. Here are some pictures. These are all human formations.. WOW.. never knew we looked so good :)

Darius, and my 17 year old sis, Lynn, were in this SGM performance together. We had so much fun even though we worked so hard. During the day of our performance, we all had this huge adrenaline rush! Felt so nervous but excited at the same time!

Ice Skating!!!

Whoops.. Didn't write in yesterday (Thursday) cause I got home late and didn't bother to turn my computer on.

I had the most amazing and tiring day. Darius, took me for my first Ice Skating experience!! It was kinda scary at first but I slowly started to get the hang of it. Ice skating is actually really fun! In Malaysia, we only have one ice rink which is the one in Sunway Pyramid. Wish we had more! Anyway, I had to fall a total of 6 times before I could actually skate without hanging on to the side of the rink as if I'm hanging on for dear life LOL.. Fortunately, he is always there to help me get back on my feet and make me feel better. I can actually skate pretty fast now. Just that I think I'm not using the right technique LOL.. When I start to skate fast, I doubt myself and then I'll fall LOL.. *ouch* I'm planning on going to ice skate soon! Can't wait. Wanna make sure I can skate smoothly and confidently! Wish me luck!













After all that crazy exercise, that evening, we had an appointment with friends to go play badminton! It was really fun! Our friends rented 3 badminton courts in the Badminton Stadium for us. So we had to take turns cuz there were so many of us! It was really fun! That was a whole day of exercise for me. I found out that I'm pretty good with badminton, just not enough stamina. *sigh*

This morning when I woke up... my muscles ached like crazy. They still hurt now! I can barely walk LOL.. and we had to go to Putrajaya with Raymond, Darius's good friend, to pick up their new Identification Cards. Putrajaya is actually a really pretty place. After that we went to Mid Valley Megamall to have our dinner at "Spaghetti Grill". I had the Grilled Chicken Ceaser Salad (it was awesome), Raymond had the Parmesan Chicken Pasta, and Darius had the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (whatever that means LOL).

After that we went to Sunway Pyramid so that Raymond could get movie tickets for his friends for 2moro. Darius and Raymond then went to play some snooker. Now snooker is something I'm not good at LOL. I really suck at it, big time!

Anyway, I have to get to sleep soon! Or I'm gonna end up looking like a panda the next day (O_O) LOL.. Dark circles at the eyes! I feel so tired and sleepy.

P.S. Might be going to Genting Highlands 2moro (big possibility).. Been there a little too often LOL.

Raining Cats & Dogs...

I'm so glad I don't have classes 2moro! I can sleep in late... I've been feeling sleepy and tired ever since college semester started LOL. College was pretty awesome today except for the fact that I was late for my PR class (damn!). I had no intention of being late as I actually enjoy that subject. It's really fun. Had a full 4-hour day of PR classes.

Thank god for the Music N Dance Club, MNDC, meeting. Make me feel so much better being in my element, dancing!! I'm planning to sign up for the Latin/Ballroom dance class which my friend, Jill, is holding. I've always wanted to do Latin and Ballroom dancing. I think it's awesome but whether or not I join the class depends on the schedule. I hope they arrange a time which i can actually fit into my already busy schedule. Felt great meeting up with Laura & Justin. It's been a pretty long while.

It's been raining so heavily that I thought I wouldnt be able to reach home today. Darius, had to drive the car through a flooded road. The water level was so high it almost reached half the tyres. So scary LOL.. Thank god to Darius's amazing driving skills we got through that! :) We had no intention of getting stuck LOL. So we're pretty lucky :) I took a picture of a car going through the flooded area. It doesn't look deep in the photo but in real life, it really was deep!



Anyway, wanna get back to watching CSI:Miami. I love it LOL. but still prefer the CSI Las Vegas version more.

Crash course...

Finally...
Just finished my IMC assignment.. It's a piece of crap hahaha.. XD
No idea what to write in the assignment so just kept referring back to the table. Feel so lazy *sigh*... Crashed my IMC assignment in 2 hours. Beat that!! LOL.. kidding. It's actually my first time that I could finish my assignment that fast *laughs
I go to college for these reasons: to attend PR & IDTP classes (my fave), to meet up with my friends esp. Laura & Justin (starting to make extra good friends now.. Max, Vanessa, Jane), and the tasty chicken chop rice (blackpepper)!! Woo-hoo!!

Will pen in soon i hope. As long as i'm not busy... :)

My First Online Shopping Session

This is my first post in my new blog...
Deleted the old blogs cuz the last time i wrote in them were almost 2 years ago! Hahaha.. Malas to write.
But now since everyone's doing it.. It'll be like my online diary for me and for anyone who reads my blog (if there is anyone.. LOL).

Here's my first experience of online shopping. Its complicated. LOL... At first I was using my Facebook then i recieved a message in my inbox from Vivien Sam inviting friends to check out their new website called "The Envelopes" which is an online shopping website. Around this time yesterday I visited their website: the-envelopes.blogspot.com
I was actually pretty impressed with my friends Vivien, Carmen & Cindy as they set up a pretty cool website!! Love the pixel items! So adorable!!

Anyway back to me browsing... I found links in their website to other online shopping websites. After hours and hours of looking through link after link (my sister, Lynn, calls it Online Window Shopping.. LOL), I finally found one particular website that had my favourite type of tops! They were just so beautiful! The website's called CherryBlossomCloset! It's a beautifully designed website with the most amazing clothing EVERRRR!!!! U juz so gotta see them!
